At our practice we pride ourselves on our attitude when it comes to dealing with pets with behavioural problems. It is important to get the correct help when dealing with behavioural problems with your pet, as the wrong advice can make the situation worse. We advise to only seek help from qualified behaviourists/ trainers with only positive methods.

When to get help for your pet?

- When they are extremely anxious in situations like being left alone/ going outside/ the car/ being away from their owner

- Aggressive behaviour, aggression can be a sign of pain. So it is important to get them check out.

- Reactive towards other dogs/ fighting with other household pets

- When they become a danger to themselves and others

- When it begins to affect the families life

Finding a behaviourist is difficult due to long waiting times,  but we work closely with Katie Odlin who has recently qualified as a animal behaviourist. Katie is accepting new clients and has the education to back her methods.

CONFIDENCE CLINIC

We are introducing confidence clinics to help us show your pet that the clinic is not such a scary place and that it can be a place they can enjoy! These are ran by our qualified behaviourist Katie.

We tailor 1-1 sessions based on your pets behaviour and personality, starting with helping your pet to feel more comfortable within the clinic and working towards helping them to feel comfortable during an examination, ensuring it takes place at a pace to suit them.

We will also give you tips on how you can help make this process easier with activities and games you can do at home.

We can also offer muzzle training clinics, cooperative care clinics, and sessions for puppies.
